Over 15 years ago I purchased my first investment property; a 40 acre parcel of mixed forest, wetland, agricultural land and a rock outcrop with views of the Skagit Valley, Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands. I've been investing in real estate in both Skagit and Whatcom counties ever since and have added rehab properties and building lots to my portfolio.
After purchasing several properties, I began to understand real estate and the market extremely well. Becoming an agent seemed like a natural next step since it combined my love for real estate and helping people.
My true passion is being outside enjoying all the natural beauty up here in the Northwest. I'm an avid walker, mountain biker, skier, backpacker and day hiker. I also really love to operate heavy equipment or any tools for that matter! When I'm not helping people buy or sell real estate you will likely see me biking around town or skiing with my beautiful daughter. Or you might see me perusing the farmers markets, co-ops, libraries, coffee houses or brew pubs.
I offer a unique set of skills to anyone wishing to buy or sell a home. I'm a Washington state native and have made the North Puget Sound my home for over 25 years after growing up in the South Sound. I'm a carpenter's daughter and know all facets of construction as a result of working for my father, other construction companies, the National Park Service and my own projects.

I worked with Jen to buy what seemed like the last house below 450k in Bellingham at the time. Running up to it I think I ended up putting offers in on eight houses before getting one. In the process Jen rolled with the punches as I made and then changed my mind, went and looked at houses when I couldn't get there in time and sent me pictures and videos, and recommended an outstanding inspection guy- and trust me they are not all the same. What Jen really brought to the table was being laid back and low pressure which really helped when making such a big decision. She also has a background in construction which really set her apart and informed her opinions. That was really appreciated since it was my first time buying property, and those two aspects are really why you want to work with her instead of someone else."
