A San Francisco Bay Area native, I first moved to the Bellingham area in 2016. In 2020, I returned to the Bay Area, only to find that it no longer had the same sparkle and sense of home it had held for me for nearly my entire life...so I returned to Whatcom County in the fall of 2021, settling just north of Bellingham, and I haven't looked back since. I have found the place that I can now call home.
After working in the legal field in various capacities for nearly 35 years--first as a court transcriber, then a legal secretary, and finally as a trusts and estates paralegal--in late 2022, I decided to leave the field of law and take the leap into the world of real estate. My 15 years as a trusts and estates paralegal have provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge that will serve me well--and, therefore, allow me to serve my clients well--in my career as a real estate agent. Perhaps more importantly, during those years as a paralegal, I had the privilege of helping people during some of the most joyous times of their lives, making revisions to their estate plans as they welcomed a new baby or grandbaby into the world, and during the most difficult times, when they experienced the loss of a beloved spouse, partner, or parent. Some of those people are now among my closest friends and I am grateful for their presence in my life.
As I embark on my journey in real estate, I realize how fortunate I am to have been welcomed into the Satushek Team. I am honored to be a part of this team.
